Ad reservations are due the 15th of the month before they are scheduled to run (January ads must be booked by December 15).

Mailed

Each month, the Local Rag is mailed to every mailbox and P.O. box in Red Lodge, Bearcreek, Belfry, Bridger, Fox, Luther, Roberts, Roscoe, and Washoe—a total of about 3,800 copies.

Other Copies

Additional copies are distributed free to local restaurants, hotels, bars, rental units, and retail stores.

Rates for Print Ads

The following rates went into effect in November of 2007. Available discounts are listed below the rate table. We also have a Printable rate sheet (PDF file) available for downloading.

Discounts

We offer a 5% discount for contracts running at least 3 issues, and a 10% discount for ads that are prepaid. You can also receive the prepay discount by giving us authorization to charge your credit card the day each issue is printed. These discounts stack, so if you give us a contract and a credit card to pay for it, you will receive a 15% discount.

We also offer a discount to 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Please contact us for details.

Design

You can either design your own ads (please see the specifications), or we will be happy to design one for you at no charge. If we design the ad for you, we will provide you with a proof to check on this Web site prior to publication.
